Charles Leclerc was the quickest driver on track in FP1 at Miami International Autodrome, as the drivers got their first taste of the brand-new circuit.
Leclerc set a time of 1m31.098s, which was quick enough to lead the upgraded Mercedes of George Russell by 0.071s. Max Verstappen was a further 0.179s behind his championship rival in third – with Red Bull team mate Sergio Perez in P4.
