DRIVER OF THE DAY: Super sub Hulkenberg takes the honours at the Nurburgring

He may have finished 'only' eighth, but that was after starting 20th and last at the Nurburgring, having been parachuted in to replace a sick Lance Stroll at Racing Point barely a couple of hours before qualifying. Germany's Nico Hulkenberg really is a real super sub – and it seems you agreed as he took a big share of the votes for Driver of the Day. Here’s how the voting broke down…

Daniel Ricciardo - 17.6%
Lewis Hamilton - 8.4%
Charles Leclerc - 7.4%
Max Verstappen - 5.6%
