Isack Hadjar earned his fourth race victory of the 2024 Formula 2 campaign in convincing fashion, winning from third on the grid and overtaking both of his closest rivals for the Championship along the way.
The Campos Racing driver was undeniable on Sunday, first passing Gabriel Bortoleto for second and then Paul Aron for the lead of the race.

The latter was able to fight back after the pair’s mandatory pitstops were complete inside the opening 10 laps, using DRS to get back past Hadjar. But, just two laps later, the Campos driver was back through and into the lead once more with a DRS pass of his own.
From that point on, the Frenchman was able to keep Aron and then Bortoleto at bay right the way to the chequered flag.
Victory at Spa-Francorchamps extends the Red Bull Junior Team driver’s advantage in the Championship to 36 points over next-best Bortoleto, who claimed his fourth podium of the year in P2.
The Brazilian leapfrogged Aron in the Standings with the result, after last-lap disaster for the Estonian. Having been third on the road on the final tour, the Hitech Pulse-Eight driver slowed on the Kemmel Straight before coming to a halt and dropping out of the points, a costly result with Hadjar’s victory.
Jak Crawford of DAMS Lucas Oil was the driver to profit, moving onto the podium to go into the top five of the Drivers’ Championship in the process.
