F2 PODCAST: F1 dream still 'very much alive' - Jack Aitken

Whether he is chucking a ball around with Daniel Ricciardo, or gunning for victory with his Formula 2 team Campos Racing, Jack Aitken can almost always be found at a Formula 1 Grand Prix. Deeply immersed in the Renault F1 Academy programme as the team’s test driver, he plays a vital role at more than just the 12 support race weekends.
The 24-year-old joins Alex Jacques and Rosanna Tennant in the latest episode of F2: The Road to F1, and is as charming as ever. Aitken is regularly described on the podcast as the funniest driver in the paddock, but there is a more thoughtful and logical side to the young racer. His maturity shines through and his determination to reach the highest tier of single-seater racing is absolute.
The London-born driver discusses his win on home soil at Silverstone earlier this season and the ups and downs of getting to Formula 1. He also opens up on the death of his good friend, and fellow Renault driver, Anthoine Hubert.
