F2: Tsolov’s final lap overtake on Mini earns him Silverstone Sprint Race victory
Nikola Tsolov claimed his fifth win of the F2 season with a final lap overtake at Silverstone.

Nikola Tsolov achieved his fifth win of the season thanks to a final lap overtake on his championship rival Gabriele Minì at the Silverstone Sprint Race.
The Campos Racing driver charged through from sixth to second early on and bided his time behind Minì before closing in late on in the race.
The MP Motorsport driver looked to have fended off the Red Bull junior but a lockup at the Loop gave Tsolov the opportunity he had been seeking.
The Bulgarian driver then used the DRS to get past the Alpine Academy member down the Wellington straight, before going on to win a second consecutive race.
Van Amersfoort Racing’s Rafael Villagómez took the final spot on the podium in third, ahead of the ART Grand Prix duo of Kush Maini and Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak.
DAMS Lucas Oil driver Dino Beganovic made a charge of his own, going from P11 to sixth, ahead of teammate Roman Bilinski, as Joshua Duerksen took the final point in P8.
That wraps up the Sprint Race action, but the drivers will have one more chance to go racing at Silverstone, with the Feature Race set to start at 11:15 local time on Sunday morning.
