GALLERY: All the angles as Mercedes launch their W16 challenger
Mercedes have unveiled their new 2025 challenger – the W16 – with the car launching digitally just two days before the start of pre-season testing.
Following the squad's livery reveal at F1 75 Live, along with all the other teams at London's The O2, the Silver Arrows' new challenger broke cover on Monday with the hopes it can help the squad finish higher in the Teams' standings.
FIRST LOOK: Mercedes unveil new 2025 car as W16 breaks cover
Mercedes ended 2024 in fourth place, their weakest position since 2012, and go into this season without seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton in their line-up following his Ferrari move. Instead George Russell and rookie Kimi Antonelli will turn out for Mercedes, with former racer Valtteri Bottas in a reserve role.
