Max Verstappen led both sessions on the timing boards following the opening day of 2024 pre-season testing at the Bahrain International Circuit.
The Red Bull driver clocked a 1m 31.344s in the second session as teams across the F1 grid gained valuable insight, with their cars hitting the track ahead of the new season.

It wasn't all plain sailing for everyone, with Williams drivers Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant suffering fuel pump and driveshaft issues respectively.
