MUST-SEE: Stroll and Alonso get racy on Day 1 of Bahrain testing

It’s just over a week until the 2022 season gets under way at the Bahrain Grand Prix. And Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso have been getting their eye in early, as they practised battling around the Bahrain International Circuit on Day 1 of the Official Pre-Season Test.

Into the final hour of running on Thursday, Aston Martin driver Stroll was circulating close at hand to the Alpine of Alonso – with the pair then putting on an entertaining show for viewers, as they ran side-by-side around the first part of the lap.

“There was a moment where he got a little bit excited,” said Stroll at the end of the day. “I’m not sure what he was really doing!”
