PADDOCK PASS: All the reaction from an unforgettable Italian GP
No one could have predicted the podium for the 2020 Italian Grand Prix, which saw AlphaTauri’s Pierre Gasly take his maiden victory from the McLaren of Carlos Sainz and the Racing Point of Lance Stroll – as one of either Mercedes, Red Bull or Ferrari failed to finish on the rostrum for the first time since 2012.
For Mercedes, it was a race to forget, as Valtteri Bottas took P5, while a penalty-hit Lewis Hamilton recovered to seventh – while it was even worse for Ferrari, who saw both cars drop out of their home race.
Join Will Buxton in the video above as he guides you through all the reaction from an Italian Grand Prix that seems set to take on modern classic status – or if you’d like to get the race reaction in podcast form, head over to Spotify to listen to Paddock Pass there.
